US Weather Spotlight: 11-23-18

A trough of low pressure moves from the Plains to the Great Lakes today with rain coverage gradually increasing by this afternoon from central MN to LA and then the Great Lakes, Ohio River Valley, and southeastern states this evening and overnight. A changeover to snow briefly before ending is expected across MN tonight and then northwestern WI overnight with most having a chance at a dusting by Saturday morning though a couple inches could accumulate in northeastern parts of MN.

The western third of the country stays active with more rain and snow, and possibly heavy at times.
