A few areas of snow showers are expected in parts of the country today, but nothing major with most having a chance at a dusting and then just a couple inches possible in the lake effect snow belts off the Great Lakes and in some mountain regions.

Storm system continues to move through California today continuing rain shower chances in southern CA and southern NV with chances possible getting to western AZ by Thursday morning. Heavier downpours are possible in southern CA, and maybe a rumble of thunder in Los Angeles and San Diego.
